Veterans Car Show Raises over $4000 to Benefit Honor Flight of Southern NM

LTC Jim Harbison, US Army, Ret., a Vietnam veteran and Silver Star recipient, presented a check for $4119.50 to Honor Flight of Southern New Mexico earlier this week. The check represents funds raised at the recent Veteran’s Car Show held in Las Cruces. HFSNM gives a hearty thanks to Borman Autoplex of Las Cruces for hosting the show at their facility as well as everyone who made this possible by their generous help and participation, including: Kelly Accounting, Vietnam Veterans of America and the Law Office of Samuel I. Kane.

Honor Flight of SNM is preparing for Mission 10 later this fall. They will take WWII, Korean and Vietnam veterans to Washington DC to see their war memorials at no cost to the vets. The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization that works to honor veterans across the country with this experience. We thank and honor all veterans for their sacrifices. Help HFSNM make Mission 10 a trip to remember!
