October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and Haven House Domestic Violence Shelter, Inc. would like to invite you to Stand with us Against Domestic Violence. For when we work together as a community, we can achieve amazing things.
We have some great activities planned, and would like to invite you to join us to be a part of them.
On Saturday, October 14th Haven House Domestic Violence Shelter, Inc. will be hosting the Mayor’s BBQ at Haynes Park in Rio Rancho. We will have good food, family friendly fun, provide information on resources in the community, and fundraise for the only Domestic Violence Shelter in Sandoval County. Please let us know if you are interested in sponsoring this event, or setting up a table as a part of the community health fair. Information is attached for your review and response.
And, we welcome you to join us at the other Sandoval County domestic violence awareness planned events:
September 27: Mayor Hull Proclamation that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month at the Rio Rancho City Council Meeting on September 27th at 6 pm. Please join us, and wear purple to show your support.
September 30: Purple ribbons will be tied on the light poles around the city of Rio Rancho to commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness month. If interested in assisting us with “Purpling the Poles” please contact Roberta at email@example.com for more details on where and when volunteers will be meeting on Saturday, September 30.
