Country star Kristian Bush created a big splash last year with his debut solo hit “Trailer Hitch,” reminding all of us that we can’t take our stuff with us when we go, so why not “give it away?”
As one-half of the platinum-selling duo Sugarland, Kristian knows a thing or two about partnerships. Now, he’s teamed up with Goodwill® to encourage you to take the “trailer hitch” message to heart. You can donate clothing, electronics and small household items that you no longer use or need. Goodwill will sell those items in their retail stores to raise money that goes directly towards providing job training and placement services for people right here in New Mexico.
Did you know that every 27 seconds of every business day, someone served by Goodwill is placed in employment? And that one bag of donated clothes creates one hour of on-the-job training for someone in right here in the Land of Enchantment.
So, do your part and donate to goodwill so you can become a job creator. To find out more about how to give it away the “trailer hitch” way, go goodwillnm.org
