Homewise Homes, a division of the non-profit organization Homewise, won four awards at the 2016 Santa Fe Area Homebuilder’s Haciendas – A Parade of Homes. Homewise Homes was awarded Best Design, Best Outdoor Space, Best Energy Efficiency and Best Water Efficiency for their Mimosa model at 14 Via Secunda in Tessera.
“We’re honored to be recognized for our craftsmanship and commitment to green building” says Brian Anderson, Director of Real Estate Development. “With the right framework, high-quality, energy efficient homes can also be affordable. That’s what we’ve achieved with Homewise Homes.”
Energy efficiency is not only an important part of an environmentally responsible home but is also critical to reducing monthly and longer-term ownership costs. Homewise Homes use on average 40% less energy and 30% less water than a standard code-built home. By placing a priority on the green aspects of homebuilding, Homewise Homes furthers the organization’s mission of helping people achieve financial security through homeownership.
Homewise Homes is currently building in four communities throughout Santa Fe, with its newest development, Corazon Santos, scheduled to break ground this fall. Homewise Homes are priced from $217,500 with several models to choose from.
