Healing Hearts Luncheon and Silent Auction

healing-hearts-2017-3The Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico is hosting its 11 th Annual Healing Hearts Luncheon & Silent Auction at Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017. The event will feature a silent auction, luncheon, and an opportunity to celebrate hope and healing while remembering those we love.

The Children’s Grief Center is the only organization in central New Mexico focused on providing support services for grieving children. The mission of Children’s Grief Center is to provide a safe and supportive environment where children, teens, and their families can share experiences while grieving a death. Support groups take place weekday evenings in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. An annual summer camp is also provided for children that live outside the central New Mexico area. Since 2001, we have trained hundreds of volunteer bereavement facilitators, who support nearly 600 children and their families annually. Thanks in part to our generous sponsors, whom are all private donors and contributors – all of these critical and unduplicated services continue to be available to families at no charge.

The Healing Hearts Luncheon & Silent Auction is your opportunity to learn more about grieving children and how we can all help them to heal. Often when we hear about tragic events in the news, we feel powerless to help. This is an opportunity for you to make a positive and profound impact on the hearts of grieving children in our community. Join us in celebrating hope and healing when it is needed most.
