Excitement is already growing for the Albuquerque Community Foundation’s 2015 Great Grant Giveaway on Friday, March 27, 2015, 11:30 a.m. at Hotel Albuquerque. Over the last two years, the Great Grant Giveaway has awarded over $100,000 to local nonprofits.
This year the Foundation invites Albuquerque-based nonprofits to participate in the selection process. To be considered, complete the following statement and post to the Great Grant Giveaway Facebook page.
“If we received a grant of $5,000 or more from #GreatGrantGiveaway, we could _______ (limit 100 words).” “This is important to us because _____ (limit 100 words).”
Have fun! Be creative! Include photos, videos or anything that highlights your organization.
Depending on your cause, your window to apply will depend on your organization’s field-of-interest. See the schedule below. For example, Global Opportunities Unlimited would apply during the Human Services designated week from 11/16 – 22.
Arts & Culture: October 12th – 18th
Economic & Workforce Development: October 19th – 25th
Education: October 26th – November 1st
Environmental & Historic Preservation: November 2nd – 8th
Health: November 9th – 15th
Human Services: November 16th – 22th
During your selected week, boost your chances of being selected by encouraging your supporters to like, share and comment on your post. All posts will be considered in the selection process, and the posts with the most support will move on to the next stage.
Winners will be announced in January, 2015!
