Dion’s Announces Application for Two Scholarships

As a way to give back to their employees, Dion’s is now accepting applications for two scholarships. One $2,500 scholarship which will be awarded to a college-bound high school Senior, and a second $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a student currently enrolled in a secondary education program.

Dion’s is proud to employ many young people. Mark Herman, CEO of Dion’s, said, “We love the opportunity we have to give young adults a great first-time job experience. We want employees to use the skills they learn at Dion’s as a launch pad for achieving goals the rest of their lives.”

Students interested in applying can submit a scholarship application, including an essay, through March 1, 2018. The scholarship application asks questions about the student’s educational and career plans. Finalists will be interviewed during the month of April and the recipients of both scholarships will be announced on May 1, 2018.
Herman, said, “Dion’s supports a multitude of efforts around youth development throughout our community. We are excited to support our employees in their educational goals.”
