The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce has received The 2014 Chamber of the Year Award by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC). The USHCC recognizes the Chamber of the Year from among the 250 Hispanic Chambers of Commerce in the nation.
Award recipients are selected by an independent panel of judges and are chosen on the basis of major accomplishments in business, education, economic development, quality of service, innovation of programs, leadership and services provided to the Hispanic and small business community. “We are proud to be recognized for our services to the business community in Albuquerque and New Mexico”, said President/CEO Alex O. Romero. Robert Sachs, AHCC Chairman and President/Owner of Team Technologies, Rudy Beserra, AHCC Board Member and VP of Corporate Latin Affairs for Coca Cola, Del Esparza, AHCC member and President/Owner of Esparza Advertising, Patricia Chavez, AHCC member and President of PLC Enterprises, Synthia Jaramillo, Ranee Tafoya and Alex O. Romero of the chamber traveled to the USHCC Annual Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Award was presented by President Javier Palomarez and Chairman Marc Rodriguez of the USHCC before convention attendees that include 6500 Corporations and Business leaders from across the nation.
