Global Warming, Climate Change, Obesity, Diabetes, Go Vegan, Save the Planet, are all headliners in the news these days. With that said, Nancy Arenas is excited to bring to the community the Red and Green VegFest Albuquerque, Compassion…Love in Action for the 2nd year to the Albuquerque Convention Center on Saturday July 1, 2017. The theme is “Compassion…Love in Action. She is committed to making available information on all things vegan. She has assembled knowledgeable speakers to share with the community information on: health and diet; climate change; sentience of animals; and cooking vegan.
Compassion…Love in Action: Our goal is: to inspire you to create a healthier you, by eating a deliciously satisfying vegan-diet; and, to patently bring forth into action “latent-human-compassion for animals;” to completely purify the one planetary-environment …by believing that the one human-race is, indeed, becoming ……harmless.
“Putting together the Red and Green VegFest Albuquerque is hard work, but, my goal to get information to our community about living healthier and cruelty free is very important”. “Veganism is a vital message, is a powerful message, it is a message of love: Love for the planet, the animals and each other, Nancy says.”
We have speakers on climate change, health, etc., such as: Dr. Ankur Gupta, Jean-Christian Jury, Rae Sikora, Jim Corcoran; there will be cooking demonstrations with JL Fields, Quiana “Que” Broden to name a few. Vendors with cruelty-free products will be on hand to introduce themselves to the community and show them what is available.
Nancy puts this event on herself, and is hoping to bring New Mexico into the fold of the “VegFest trend” around the country. New Mexico is a spiritual place to her, and of course, the Land of Enchantment. This Red and Green VegFest Albuquerque is the first and only one of its kind here in New Mexico. What better event to support than one whose message is “love”, Love for the planet, the animals and each other.
